Safe Harbor—A Sober Living Facility
It’s a task as big as the sea. The plan is bold, visionary, and absolutely necessary. SAIL Initiative plans to build a transitional living facility for women in the Pee Dee. This therapeutic community will provide a safe, nurturing environment where they can better recover from substance use disorder. We need your help to make it happen. Here’s why. Lack of a stable, alcohol and drug-free living environment is a serious obstacle to sustained abstinence. Destructive living environments can derail recovery for even highly motivated individuals. Sober living houses (SLHs) are alcohol- and drug-free living environments for individuals attempting to abstain from alcohol and drugs. Residents themselves help pay for the costs. With your support, we can help to make sure every woman has access to quality recovery support. Please visit our Contribute page and help this facility become a reality.
Every woman suffering substance abuse deserves a chance to regenerate her life. The sea of life can make for rough sailing and women can redirect their lives to better places. It happens, as you’re about to see.
